Rack Type Cutters

DATHAN rack type cutters are produced for the Sunderland and Maag gear planing machines for both spur and helical gears of 1DP (25 Module) and finer. Helical rack type cutters can be produced when a spur cutter cannot be used to generate a helical gear or for continuous double helical gears. Tools are manufactured as standard in M2 HSS with the choice of ASP30 HSS if required.
